DML HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Customers are required to provide 2
forms of ID for their Rental booking.

passport or Driving License & a recent Utility Bill.
2 RENTAL DEPOSIT
Hirers are required to pay a deposit in advance for their rental booking, upto
the value of the equipment
booked. On high value items such as the Hasselblad H3D camera system Items of
substantial value may also be left as security (such as camera equipment ) and
business references may be required. We also retain the right to refuse your
hire request if you can not fulfil this.
a Cash Customers can pay for their Hire with
Cash or by Credit/Debit card excluding AMEX.
b We only accept payment at the time of Rental:
in store where the customer & card are present or
telephone where your order is delivered to the card registration address.
c Earlier payment can be made by direct Bank
Transfer, allowing time for us to verify secure receipt.
4 RENTAL HIRE PERIOD
a All hire bookings are charged from the time
they leave us or are collected from us, to the time they are returned
b - We
retain the right to terminate the hire at any time and recover the rental
It is the
hirers responsibility to:
a - Return
the rental to us on time.
b To pay the rental rate for each day that the
equipment is in your possession & until the equipment has been
returned to us, including any additional charges incurred.
c - To
safe-guard our equipment whilst in your care.
5 LATE RETURNS
a Are subject to an additional charge.
b All prices are subject to change without
c It is the responsibility of the hirer to
inform DML of any hire extension no less than 24 hours prior to the end of
their original hire period.
d Hire without Deposit customers will be
automatically charged for the additional rental period.
a - Please
call us if you have a cancellation.
b Same day cancellations / no shows may be
subject to a cancellation charge & or the cost of the whole hire.
6 EQUIPMENT CHECK
a All our equipment is checked and tested prior
to leaving us and on return to us. We cannot accept
for any failure in use or for consequential loss.
b - The
hirer must check all equipment carefully for completeness and function at the
time of receipt.
7 DAMAGED / MISSING / STOLEN EQUIPMENT
a - The
hirer must report shortage of equipment to us within 1 hour of receiving the

c Any rental equipment that is stolen must be
reported to the police and to DML within 24 hours, please

8 EQUIPMENT USAGE
The Hirer is
responsible for ensuring that he/she is familiar with the controls and
functionality of the
rented. We will assist with this if required.
9 UNRETURNED ITEMS
The hirer is
responsible for returning all rented equipment to DML fully complete. Any

existing cover is produced.

not be held responsible for any loss of earning or personal damage you might
incur due to the misuse
of our equipment.

liability in connection with the hire of the equipment shall be limited to the
price of the hire.

brittle item (other than lenses) unless caused by fire, theft
to the conveyance in which the property insured is being transported.

from unoccupied vehicles.
